Kalpana has been a member and advocate for nonpartisan Citizens’ Climate Lobby for many years. She has written letters to the editor to press in Central Texas, and several of her articles are found on Voices of Austin, the website of the Austin Metro Chapter.
Citizens’ Climate Lobby hosts more than 500 chapters across the United States and globally. It builds support in Congress for national bipartisan solutions to climate change. Citizens’ Climate Lobby is committed to building the political will for realistic, effective climate solutions. As empowered citizens, CCL volunteers talk with neighbors, friends, and local officials about how national climate action can help ensure a healthy future while strengthening the American economy.
